"What kind of housing / accommodation do you live in?"
I reside in large house with my family in Long An province. I have been living there for 18 years now. What I love most about this house is a huge garden where we usually grow some flowers.
"Who do you live with?"
Now I’m living in HCMC with my aunt and my uncle. However, at the weekend, I usually come back to my hometown to spend some quality time with my parents and especially my grandmother.
"How long have you lived here?"
I lived in my old house for 17 years but just 1 year ago, my family and I moved to a new house for my education. It took us a while to get used to the new place, but everything turned out fine in the end.
"What’s the difference between where you are living now and where you have lived in the past?"
The most remarkable difference between my old house and the one I’m currently living in is definitely the space. My new house is more spacious, with more rooms and a large garden, whereas my previous accommodation is a bit cramped and not always comfy.
"Do you plan to live there for a long time?"
No, I don't think so. I still want to live independently and have my own space. I think I will move to HCM city to study business at the university. Then, I’m going to rent an apartment.
"Which room does your family spend most of the time in?"
It surely depends. But I guess the living room is usually the place where we often spend time together watching TV and discussing current affairs after a dinner and a long day at school or at work.
"Are the transport facilities to your home very good?"
No, the area where I’m living is off the beaten track. So I find it difficult to catch a taxi or a bus. WHAT’S MORE, the local bus system hasn’t been upgraded and I assume not many people enjoy a ride on it.
"Do you prefer living in a house or a flat?"
An apartment with all the mod cons would be the best choice for me as I’m still single and I have no intention to get married very soon. Of course, that can be a bit more expensive but it’s really worth it.
"Please describe the room you live in."
My bedroom is not very big but cosy and comfy. There aren’t many items of furniture, just a few essential things, you know, like a desk, a built-in wardrobe for my clothes and accessories, and of course, a warm bed.
"What part of your home do you like the most?"
My bedroom, definitely, as it’s the only place in my home where I can enjoy my own privacy and do whatever I want. After a stressful day at university, I just love lazing around in my room and reading some nice books or listening to a few good pieces of music.
