1. Is punctuality important in your country?
Well, needless to say , punctuality is highly valued not only in my nation but also other regions around the world since it reflects one’s responsibility, respect and efficiency. To be more specific, in professional and social settings , arriving on time is regarded as a way of showing appreciation and courtesy to others. Similarly, in the education sector, punctuality is believed to maintain a smooth learning environment and foster a sense of discipline as well as productivity.
2. Why do you think some people are frequently late?
I think that there are several contributing factors to frequent lateness among individuals. Poor time management skills are one noticeable reason, which means that some people struggle to effectively prioritize tasks and underestimate the time needed to complete them. Apart from that, procrastinators who habitually delay tasks also often find themselves running out of time and scrambling to catch up. As a result, this usually leads them to a constant pattern of being late for meetings or commitments.
3. Do you think being on time is more important now than in the past?
Not necessarily, actually. I mean from my perspective , being on time right now is just as important as it was in the past, if not less so. While punctuality is still greatly valued today, factors such as flexible work arrangements, online communication and cultural shifts seem to have contributed to a more relaxed attitude towards this personality trait . Having said that, I believe that everyone should always try to be as punctual as possible because after all , punctuality still reflects a person’s reliability, professionalism and respect for others.
